We tailor our tours to your needs. Not every company can do that but because we are owner operated and not a big company, we can. Besides…we like to have different adventures now and then. If you aren’t sure what you need, you can select one of our sample itineraries, but really, we prefer to have every tour be just a little different because since we are of the Sahara and it is always changing, we have grown to like change too.
The desert always gives you a warm welcome and is one of the most interesting places you will ever reside. During your visit to the wonderful and amazing sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, in southeastern Morocco, you will see the sunset over the sand dunes of Merzouga. It may be the most spectacular experience that you will have during your trip to Morocco.
Erg Chebbi, the name of this sea of dunes, is said to have the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Also dunes and desert wildlife are impressive. Merzouga is an excellent base from which to explore the desert and the bird watchers are fascinated by what they may see.
In spring a lake forms near Merzouga that attracts the pink flamingos. Other rare birds stop here during the spring migration. The desert is also year-round habitat for many reptiles and mammals of the desert.
Spending the night in the dunes is a wonderful experience. Waves and waves of sand will take you into the sunset while riding on your camel. In the morning you can see the sunrise over nearby Algeria, the dunes stretch between our countries.
You will enjoy dinner around a fire while camping in the great Sahara. Certainly, this is a memorable experience.
